Heart of Darkness

Miller's planet orbiting Gargantua.

I made this scene in Blender, inspired by Interstellar.
The accretion disk is made of two parts, a center volume and an outer, thin one that adds some glow.
Post-processing was done both in Blender's compositor and Photoshop.
